Perhaps your partner, child, friend, or acquaintance is trans or non-binary. You want to support them, but you find yourself making mistakes. Learning new pronouns can be challenging, and misgendering someone can be uncomfortable for you and especially them. That’s why Pro-Now offers a platform for you to practise using pronouns correctly—all from the safe space of your laptop, phone, or tablet! If you’re already a pro, but others around you often mix up pronouns, encourage them to practise with Pro-Now!
In healthcare, we encounter people from all walks of life, including trans and non-binary individuals. Unfortunately, the healthcare system is not always well-equipped for them. The simple act of introducing your pronouns and asking for theirs during admittance can make a significant difference. It is of course important to be able to use pronouns correctly, and that’s where Pro-Now comes in handy. Using the right pronouns can have a positive impact on someone’s mental health. Together, let’s create a better healthcare system!
As a trans or non-binary person, you are confronted with the other person's perception every day. Every time you make the consideration of whether or not to correct someone, you frequently hear the comment “Yeah sorry, I want to het well, but het is so hard huh”. You catch yourzelf saying “It's okay, can happen”, “Doesn't matter!” or “It's already good”. But het is not okay and het does matter. It is not up to you to continuously explain your zijn to someone else. With Pro-Now you no longer have to do that and you can simply refer people to us or zen or zelfs create your own quiz so others can practice with your name and pronouns. Free and for nothing!
